Enrollment information
Quest Academy is a tuition-free, public charter K-8 school in Las Vegas, Nevada. Quest Academy does not discriminate its enrollment based on the race, gender, religion, ethnicity, or disability of a pupil. As a Nevada State approved charter that is dedicated to providing educational programs and opportunities to the community, Quest Academy follows the enrollment guidelines as detailed in NRS 386.580 sub-section 2.
Applications January 1st – January 31st – Re-enrollment forms become available to current students and their incoming siblings (a lottery form must be completed for all new incoming siblings). January 1st – February 29th – Lottery forms become available to the general public for all grades (including incoming Kindergartners). March – The lottery takes place on the first Monday in March. We will then contact those who have been allotted a seat from the lottery to complete additional paperwork. Lottery If more pupils who are eligible apply to Quest Academy for enrollment than the number of spaces which are available, Quest Academy determines which applicants to accept based on a lottery system. The lottery is conducted in accordance to NRS 386.580 subsection 2. Once the lottery is conducted, applicants are notified of their status. Waitlist Applicants who are not offered a seat based on availability will remain on their grade-level waiting list for the current school year. Applications are valid only for the current school year. A new waiting list is generated annually after each lottery on an as needed basis. If an applicant on a current waitlist wishes to be included in the lottery for the following school year, it is the applicant’s responsibility to contact the Registrar during the month of February to roll over the application for the lottery in March. |
