Academic plans and tracks
1. Does my child have the option of utilizing full-time distance learning this school year?
Quest will operate with students full time in person for the majority of students. Full-time distance learning is available to students with a documented health condition that limits them from attending in-person learning, as determined by a medical health professional. If you would like your child to opt-in to full time distance learning for a health condition, please contact the Registrar for more information, . (answered 7/1/2021)
2. Does my child need to wear a uniform during distance education?
During distance education, children must be ready for the day, to include wearing a Quest uniform top or spirit shirt. (answered 7/9/2020)
HEALTh and safety
1. Will students be required to wear face coverings/cloth masks?
All students K-8 will be required to wear face coverings/cloth masks unless they provide documentation of being fully vaccinated at this time of high community spread. (updated 7/10/2021).
2. Will face coverings have to follow the Quest dress code?
Face coverings may be solid colors or patterns. If guidelines are broadened, families will be notified. Please remember the school setting as attire to include face coverings should not be controversial, inappropriate, advocacy oriented or promotional. Face covering cannot have visible holes, for example, lace or crochet. (answered 7/1/2020, updated 7/28/2020).
3. If my child has high asthma or allergy symptoms (sneezing, red eyes, etc.) but is not actually sick, will they be sent home from school?
Your child will only be sent home if it is clear that they are experiencing severe symptoms which could be connected with COVID-19
4. What if my child refuses to wear a mask?
During the 2020-2021 school year, all children were successful at following the mask protocols. (updated 7/23/2020, 7/10/2021)
5. What happens if a teacher or students tests positive for COVID-19?
If there is a positive case, Quest will notify the Southern Nevada Health District for guidance on notification, quarantining, and self-quarantining. (answered 7/9/2020)
6. Will teachers have a health screen and temperature check like the students each day?
Yes. In the 2021-2022 school year, teachers will self-screen each day. (answered 7/9/2020, updated 7/10/2021)
7. What supplies will students need?
Students will need individual supplies (supply lists will be online on Monday, 7/1/2021). Specifically, students will need an individual reusable water bottle and individual headphones. (answered 7/9/2020)

1. Will parents, guests, and visitors be allowed on campus?
Quest will not have parents or parent volunteers on campus during substantial and high community spread. Any visitor that must attend an appointment at the school will follow the protocol for visitors described in the reopening plan. Masks for those visitors will be required and the policy enforced. 2. Is the school issuing laptops for distance education?
If your family is in need of a laptop, Quest will be loaning out laptops. (answered 7/9/2020)
3. What will school lunch look like this year?
Lunch will be eaten in classrooms for middle school and in the cafeteria for elementary school. Quest will continue to offer free breakfast and free lunch. Our new food vendor will have warm lunches! Breakfast will be eaten in the classroom. Students will use hand sanitizer before and after eating. If a parent drops off a lunch, the office staff will bring it to the student. 4. What is the drop off procedure for walkers?
Before 8:00 a.m., parents of walkers will complete the online health screening form for their child. When the child arrives at campus, there will be a line by the front office door and markers of where to stand. A Quest staff member will complete their temperature check and ensure the school received the health screening then send them to class. If a walker has a temperature or does not have the screening complete, they will go to the isolation area to be picked up. (answered 7/9/2020)
5. A parent asked if they can donate supplies to teachers?
